This will be our first baby and I want to do something a little special for finding out the gender. Something intimate for just my husband and I�� I wanted to see what everyone else is planning to do or what you’ve done to reveal in the past���� and zero shame to those who opened the note or read the email, no matter how you find out it’s all special and such a blessing!

same here it’s our first and we also want something intimate. We are doing cake cutting with a professional photographer and will use those as our pregnancy announcement! We will also have ultrasound as a prop and my toy poodle has a bandana that says “promoted to big bro” we plan to use that to tell our parents!

I love the intimate husband/wife only gender reveals with a picnic and a little cake and they each cut out of it with a goblet! If we weren’t choosing to be surprised that’s probably what I’d do.

With my first my husband was working 5 hrs away and didn't get to come to most of the appointments etc, so one weekend I went to see him and we went to a private ultrasound place and found out together. This time, we'll probably find out sooner and just have the nurse tell us when we get the results from the nipt

We are doing the cake scoop idea this time but with my first we did the powder at home but I always loved the balloon idea (tied up in box) and they come out when you open it but don’t fly away lol

With my second child, I took the results with me to a party store and asked the person working if they could fill the right balloon up since it was a surprise . They were so excited at the idea.

With my first we decided to both wait until we could read the results from the NIPT together, it was just the two of us. This time around we haven’t decided how we want to do it, if we want to do the NIPT, wait until the anatomy scan, or just wait until birth. I think we are both more concerned with actually getting to see a baby on the ultrasound with a great heartbeat, and that’s not for another 2 weeks!

I plan on just opening the email (sneak peek text) with my fiancé and then I am making a cupcake for my daughter to eat that will have pink or blue icing inside.

We revealed the gender and the pregnancy at the same time with our first. Nothing special, just a post saying “welcome baby boy (last name) due September 2022” with a pic of our 11 week ultrasound.
My partner’s daughter was a little disappointed she didn’t get the experience of a gender reveal instagram moment lol. We promised her a small reveal at home this time, just the 4 of us.
I know it’s completely out of season, so tell me why I have the strong urge to carve pumpkins and have a smoke bomb go off in them with the color. ��

During my first pregnancy we did sneakpeek. I was working an hour away and still had 3 hours left when the email came through. I mustered every ounce of self control and didn’t open it! My husband was on duty at the firehouse so I drove straight there and we opened it together with all of his shift buddies! They’re like family so it was super special to us!

With our first (he’s 3 now), we had a party with just family, no friends. We smashed blue and pink eggs on our heads. They were all hard boiled but the one that was the gender was raw. It was fun! This time I think we will just find out in the ultrasound room and then go surprise family at their houses. I kinda want to spray my grandma with blue or pink silly string to surprise her lol she would think it’s funny
