Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan has opened up about her upcoming move from her Bolton home, expressing excitement for a "fresh break" but also sharing concerns about the challenges of "downsizing".
At 34, Helen recently announced she's in the midst of moving out of the eight-bedroom Bolton property she acquired four years ago. She previously shared the expansive home with her ex-partner Scott Sinclair, 36, and their three children before their split in 2022.

Now appearing on Celebs Go Dating, Helen is contemplating a move to London and discussed her thoughts on relocating during an episode of the Declutter Hub Podcast, reports the Mirror.
Reflecting on her time in the house, Helen remarked: "It actually makes me sad that I'm gonna be leaving this house soon because I actually put so much effort into it."

While speaking on the podcast, she continued: "I put like a lot of my savings into like doing the house up and stuff, and making it look really beautiful."
Acknowledging the size of her current residence, she added: "It's an eight bedroomed house which is obviously really hard to keep on top of. I mean, I feel really lucky to to live here - well, soon to have lived here - because it is gorgeous but it's a lot to like keep on top of."
The actor expressed that the house they own offers more space than their previous rented family home. Helen continued, "I think I'm gonna struggle to... Obviously when I do [move] because obviously I will be downsizing so much."
While acknowledging her "down to Earth" nature and not wanting to "sound a certain way," she expects that moving to a smaller property will "feel weird" after living in her current spacious abode. She noted: "Obviously, I will get used to it, I'm sure."
Helen shared her feelings about having to part with many belongings: "But it will feel weird to downsize everything because I'm gonna have to get rid of so much more because, for example, all my beautiful furniture that I've bought it's designed for this house."
She pointed out that it won't fit in her new place, which she accepts.
Continuing the conversation, she mentioned that a smaller home may actually be easier for her to handle. Helen, whose partner Robbie Talbot is rumoured to have once lived with her, reflected: "I think it will be better for me, actually, to be honest with you, to live in a small house because I think it might be more manageable for me."

At the time of discussing on the podcast, Helen had not yet made a final decision on her next residence. She's contemplating a move to London, which could be beneficial for her career prospects but has not settled on the idea.
She pondered the advantages of commuting instead of relocating: "I don't know if I'm best, because it's not that far on the train, to just keep commuting."
She added that she's considering whether she wants a completely new start or to stay closer to her roots, concluding, "But I kind of feel like I want a fresh break. I don't know if I kind of want to stay in my hometown."
Helen, who has previously opened up about her mental health struggles and financial difficulties, hinted at wanting a change after a challenging period in her life. She had admitted to losing "lost basically all [her] money" just months ago.
