UPDATE, 6/19/25, 4p.m.: A person of interest has been found in the Super 1 Food Store shooting investigation, police confirmed.
The conditions of the two injured victims has not been released.
The investigation remains ongoing. We will update as more information is released.
ORGINAL STORY: LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Two people were shot at a Super 1 Foods located at 215 Willow St. in Lafayette around 7:11 p.m., police confirmed.
The victims have been taken to a nearby hospital, police said. The details of their conditions have not been released.
Police are currently investigating the scene. We will update as more information is released.
